Collaborating with Professionals
It was such a pleasure being asked again to join the incredibly talented group of wedding professionals who participated in the Tampa Bay Weddings Magazine's newest issue. The talents of Anna Lucia Richardson with Lucia/Paul Designs coordinated the event, which included Ryan Joseph w/Ryan Joseph Photographs, www.rjphoto.com, for photography; Katy Boyd w/House of Ska, www.ivankaska.com, as the model; an original Badgley Mishka wedding gown from Malindy Elene, www.malindyelene.com; Nga Phan w/La Vie en Rose Event Design, www.lavieflorist.com, who created and crafted the amazing floral arrangements and set design; Wildflower Linen, www.wildflowerlinens.com, whose beautiful linens adorned the table; Soosie Lazenby w/Urban Coast, www.urbancoast.com, for the exquisite paper goods; and BluVu @ the Westin Tampa Bay, www.westintampabay.com, for the beautiful venue.
Some of the fresh new colors I chose for Katy, the model, were bronzy coppers and peachy apricots. The color combination enhanced her natural warm skin tones and when paired with a light-handed black liner and strip eyelashes, brought all attention to her eyes. With regards to Katy's shoulder-length hair, I wanted to give her a tailored, but fun look, so I loosely teased and pinned her curls in an unstructured manner, creating a more messy bun look.
