Always use a licensed and professional stylist.

In the State of Florida a stylist is required to be licensed. Many people and companies who market themselves to brides do not have licenses. It's hard to regulate services being performed outside of a salon. There's a reason a licensed stylist charges what he or she does.

Invest in a trial so you can rest assured you are in good hands. I so encourage it, I charge a fraction of my usual costs.

Trials ARE Important! How else will you know?

It shouldn't wear you. Did you know the wrong type of makeup and applying it too heavily will not only feel unnatural, but cause your photographer much more time in the editing room. Get it right the first time so you won't have to worry about having to reapply and touch up later.

Makeup should be like an accessory. You wear it!

Have the Best Wedding Day Hair Trial Ever.

When scheduling wedding hair and makeup trials, I always ask a little something from the bride. I have found it very helpful to know right from the beginning of our consultation not only what it is she likes, but what it is she dislikes, too. I ask for tear sheets, pinterest boards, images downloaded to her phone, anything she can show me. Knowing her likes and especially her dislikes will tell me right away what it is she is looking for when we design her wedding day hair and makeup.
